Silky Pet Spa!
Hello, I’m Shadow (center), the store owner. I have been working with animals since I was 16 years old and found my passion in grooming. I decided to open this salon to create a calm and inviting environment for the babies out there that are scared to go to the groomer. We are passionate about renewing a healthy association for the grooming process for staff, customers, and most of all, their fur babies.
My wife, Baylee (left), has decided to partner with me on this journey and became our lead stylist after years of working to perfect her talent as a stylist. Growing up, her family bred Mastiffs and Pit Bull Terriers, so she has always had a love for dogs and that transferred over into a passion for making them look and feel beautiful.
Sunny (fluffy blond guy front and center) is our Golden Doodle. He is very friendly and, chances are, if you have been by the shop, you’ve met him, because he loves saying hi to the guests and making sure everyone feels welcome. Sometimes, he seems more human than dog!
We have added to our team by hiring on two amazing apprentices and they are on their way to becoming great stylists! We intend to grow this business to make sure that we can reach as many pets as possible and help them to have an enriching and relaxing time at the groomer. After all, it’s a life-long necessity and it should be a good time!
